THE FAMILY This has to quite literally have been one of my favorite sales of all time, I had the pleasure of working with this family for over 2 years. We met in one of my open houses in Bellevue, Washington. They were at that time, residing abroad. They had the intention or relocating back to our area of the Unite States nearly a year later, but were not sure where they wanted to be. I took their information, as they were flying out just days later. I contacted them remotely, via email, and found out they really wanted to be on Mercer Island, Washington. However, as they were partially unfamiliar with the area and its’ schools, they needed time to relocate and feel out the area before deciding where to buy. They decided they wanted to rent something during that period of investagotary area study. I took them on virtual tours, and was able to locate the perfect rental that fit their criteria. I proceeded to handle the rental transaction for them, so that when they landed in the airport with their family, they could go directly to this new rental, no stress, no headaches. We then began the study period. During this time, they considered all aspects of the island, vs other areas like Bellevue and Hunts Point. Settling on the dynamic of Mercer Island, we began to narrow down their search to which areas fit them best. We also discovered exactly what their dream home would consist of, in a perfect world. Upon minimizing our search to a very specific point on the island, I continued to study the entire island and its listings vs sales, in order to ensure the accuracy of price on their interested properties. One morning, I noted a property that was the absolute description of their dream property. It was located in a different part of the island, but I suggested we go see it for a comparative analysis anyways. We did this, and immediately realized this was the one for them and their family. Exactly what they wanted. It had only been on the market one day, when we went to see it. Their reaction to it made me realize we had to strike immediately, to ensure their success. It had not even had an open house, prior to me facilitating their offer to purchase and a successful mutual acceptance. Both the buyer and the seller were elated at the results of how smooth this transaction was. I am so happy for this family, and was honored to be chosen to help them with this huge life journey. I was contacted directly by a gentleman out of Maine, USA. He found me by doing a lot of research online. He told me that he and his wife had visited the West Coast many times and had fallen in love with it. They were planning this move several years ahead to relocate here upon retiring. He wondered if I would be willing to help him find a property, that he was not sure would actually exist. I asked him for a list of his dream criteria.
They were:
– A condominium located in a walking community with a lot of activites nearby
– Waterfront but not too loud
– A view of Mount Rainier
– Not too far from the airport
– High rental income rate
– And here was the final clincher…. Located in the path of migrating whales so that he could view them from his balcony.
That was a tall order. I was absolutely game for the task.
My specialty, is assisting clients in any community they want to live in, both locally and internationally. I do this through study and research, which allows me to become an expert anywhere in the world.
Together, my client and I gathered a lot of data about whale migration, proximity to the areas he wanted, rent revenues and walking districts. We did this together for many months. After a time, we narrowed down the search to specific areas that met most or all of that criteria.
He flew out a few times, to view specific listings I had selected for him. After two visits, we found “the one”. The Baker Condominiums in Point Ruston! He was absolutely in love! It met every single point on his criteria list, even the whales! He flew out his wife for the next visit, and she too fell in love. I helped them make an offer, and secured the property for them at asking price.
The following trip I had the pleasure of also meeting thier daughter, and we all had lunch in the village nearby. It was so satisfying and heartwarming for me to see all of them so happy about this new life chapter! It was truely one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my career. I am looking forward to the day when they become my neighbor, so we can visit over lunch again.

This propery has a long history and a great story. This property happens to be one of the very first properties I ever contracted early in my career. The clients were savvy real estate investors and world travelers who were long standing clients of one of our Califoria Sotheby’s International Offices, looking for investment opportunities in Washington State. This was a very fun transaction. I was contacted by a private company who hadd been searching for a commercial lease, who had found me by researching online for expert agents in this area. Their corporate office found my experience to be top notch and just what they were looking for. They required a very specific list of criteria: size, speciffic layout and ameneties, and proximity location to a large local company. All within a very tight timeline.
I was able to create a tour of acceptable properties within days and took their team on tour. They had not experienced looking at commercial spaces before, so I was able to educcate them on the steps, and hep them visualize what thier new offices would loo lie, after construction was complete of the empty shell we were viewing. It was reassuring to them to know they had all their bases covered there. After looking at several locations, we found just the right fit. I was able to negotiate terms for them that included several months of free rent and all TI they wanted payed for by the landlord. They were so very pleased and ever so grateful.
I really enjoyed working with this amazing company, learning more about what they do and sincerely honored to meet their team of managing members. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing the finished space!

My clients were moving from Boston to Seattle. With a new baby shortly on the way, and another young one in tow, this move was a big event. They needed somewhere to land, a temporary place, and in short order, to start looking for a home to buy. I found them the perfect short term rental, fully furnished, in a beautiful neighborhood in Seattle. Negotiated the rental price down to fit their budget, and ensured it was ready and warm, with lights on, upon their arrival. Comfortable and settled,we then set out on the new home search. I was able to find them their dream home, in their perfect neighborhood, West Seattle. Even with fierce competition, we won the bid on that one, and it closed without a hitch. They could not have been more happy.

A client lives in Maine with his lovely wife. Their daughter goes to school in Washington, They visit, they fall in love with the beauty of the Puget Sound. They start to dream about retiring here, and create their idea of a what that looks like to them. Their requirement: A direct view of Mt. Rainier, water view, specifically in the path of migrating whales. I was up for the challenge. I searched with them remotely via email, text and face-time video live tours. Once we narrowed down the town they decided they loved the best, we started a more aggressive search there. We looked for nearly 6 months together. Finally finding a few perfect choices, they flew in for a whirlwind on site tour. I was able to procure for them through man negotiations the exact property they dreamed of, with all their specifications. They are overjoyed! This one was so much fun! I love finding that needle in a haystack, or in this case the one perfect whale in the bay!

Across the globe, in China, a client and her family were planning a move to our beautiful state. A huge move, and an enormous undertaking for a family, they called on me to help them. Not certain where they want to buy long term, they knew they would like to try a very specific area of Mercer Island. Although there are not many rentals that met their desires, I was able to help them search even though they were across the globe from me, via face time and live tours, email and text communications. I found them exactly what they were searching for. I negotiated with the agent, to ensure even their furry family pets could tag along during their stay, and secured the home for them before their deadline. I maintained the home for them, during their transition period, and ensured their home was warm and lights on when they arrived. They arrived tired, and jet-lagged but were comforted by the delights awaiting them in their new home. They were elated, relieved and so thankful. Such a fun family to work with.

– A family estate –
After finding me on google as a top agent, these clients called me for help. Their mother had recently passed and left them her lifelong home estate. The family had been calling around to agents, asking for advice on the best way to sell it. Being a residential home, they were given a lot of advice on how to list it on the market. Highest amount they were told, was near $550,000 in value. I politely disagreed with their previous advisers and asked them to let me research the property more thoroughly, before making any decisions on how to sell it. I did a little home work and realized the best use for the property was not in a residential home, but in a more commercial application. I needed to find them a buyer, who would benefit from acquiring that particular property. I was able to, within 3 days, find them multiple offers from local property owners nearby. The family was ecstatic, and accepted an offer. It closed on time without any problems for $905,000. Nearly double what they had been advised of before meeting me. This was an end of an era for the family, and a start of a new beginning as well.

A referral from a co-agent in our Montana Big Sky Sotheby’s office, I was called on for a favor of his long time friend. He had a very short timeline that he needed to meet, to sell his home he had owned for nearly 20 years. I met with him, listened to his needs, and he decided selling this off market was what he wanted me to do. Not many agents can do this, unless they have a large network or investors or builders. I have that network. I was able to procure multiple offers for him in just a few days. He accepted an offer, and was relieved to be moving on. I suggested he take a back up offer just in case, but it proved to be unnecessary it closed on time with no problems. It was exactly what he wanted, and he was so thankful for my help.
