When I attend an appointment that should take 30 minutes to an hour, but I hit it off so well, that everyone is laughing, telling stories and having a great time, the time can pass quickly. I realize I’ve actually been there for 3 hours, and the only thing that tipped me off: It was now getting dark outside. I love my job and it so rarely feels like work, that I am very grateful. I believe this has a lot to do with the sincere working relationships I build with my clients. In having worked with clients for over 25 years, I have learned one thing. I love meeting new people, getting to know them and their families. I really enjoy listening to the stories they have about the history of their homes. Touring the property together, leads them to a memory in each room and in every corner of the yard. This in turn, has a story to go along with it. I get to experience this story as they start to daydream about how this all led them to where they want to go next and what is important to them in that process. It really is a huge part of what allows me to create the perfect description of the home I sell for them and how I am able to find them the perfect match when we buy something new.
