The lost art of saying Thank You.

So often in our world today, we are all just too busy. Busy with work, busy with family.
Busy, busy, busy.
As a result, it has become a rare thing that we ever hear a thank you. More often, the only time we hear from someone about our work, is when someone has something unkind to say.
I, for one, would like to see the lost art of saying thank you return in full effect. 
I find thank you’s and compliments to be both humbling, and eye opening. It is so interesting to see yourself through the eyes of others. Especially when those thank you’s and compliments come from a colleague in your own industry, for no other reason than they felt you deserved it. 
Today I received this little testimonial from a colleague who I admire a great deal. She is looked up to by many for her attention to detail, highly respected for her many years of experience and renown for her high level of standards in our industry. I was so very proud to receive such a compliment from someone so revered, that I thought I would share it.
So often things like this go unnoticed.
